✊🏾 NJ Activists Call for Home Grow in the State’s Capital
On the three-year anniversary of the legal NJ cannabis bills, the Cannabis Regulatory and Equity and Marijuana Modernization Act (CREAMMA) signing, advocates gathered in Trenton to celebrate the decrease in arrests and demanded home grow legalization.
Some marched across downtown to the State House demanding home grow. “We’re the industry and we’re here in support of home grow,” Kristen Goedde of Trichome Analytical declared. “A registered medical cannabis patient could end up in jail for five years for growing one plant,” Goedde also noted. -
🥳 New York’s Home Grow Rules Officially Proposed
New York is FINALLY starting to gain momentum by approving over 100 licenses and approving rules for home grow in a recent public meeting. Could 2024 be the year New York Cannabis shines?
🎙️ Notorious B.I.G. Mural Outside Brooklyn Weed Dispensary Saved After Outcry
Emerald Dispensary in Bushwick was caught up in a scandal last week when they were seen blacking out a historic Biggie Smalls mural on the exterior of their shop. The reason? According to co-founder Christina De Giovanni, The New York Office of Cannabis Management ordered the removal of the mural in violation of their “enticement” signage policy. 🙄
After public outrage, the OCM issued a statement allowing the mural to be restored this past weekend. 🙏🏿
